Hotel Emmental - Thun

Rooms were comfortable and close to town, but noise from the roundabout was annoying.

the rooms are absolutely fabulous and bright with exceptionally comfortable beds and smoke detectors. the service is excellent with public parking available and brilliant meals.

Unique triple room was spotless. A sofa bed, central heating, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels were standard, but I really enjoyed that. The staff was excellent and the food was FAB. The location minutes from city centre was good.

Consider utilizing the public parking discounts to minimize your parking expenses. The nearby lots offer reasonable rates and are a short walk away.

Pleasant breakfast options to start each day.

I was disappointed with the staff service, just a connection to the restaurant. We faced challenges with parking because I assumed there would be an on-site option, but it turned out to be quite hectic to unload our bags. The room was oddly equipped, with only one pillow for a two-person bed, made sleeping less than comfortable.

The steaks were a carnivore's dream, and I was delighted by the fresh pastries at breakfast. Our room had an epic view of the castle, made mornings special.

Though the old house had minimal insulation, making it easy to hear some hallway chatter, it still sparkled with charm all around.

The location in old town was perfect, just a short stroll to many restaurants. We loved the scrumptious breakfast and the attentive staff. The view of the castle from our tiny room added a special touch to our visit.

This hotel has great character with vintage charm and a castle view right out the window. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were particularly attentive and friendly. I appreciated the beautiful mountains in the distance.

I had a tiny room for one night, and it was surprisingly comfy with a full bathroom and double bed. The decor was minimalistic but cozy enough for a quick stay. I enjoyed the thoughtful touches, like the quick response for an extra pillow. The room was clean and felt fresh, made for a nice atmosphere. Plus, it was just two minutes away from the town, so super convenient!

Really enjoyed my stay with a surprisingly good breakfast buffet and a lovely plate of cold ham & cheese served right to my table. There's a cozy garden area perfect. A sun terrace for catching some rays. One little hiccup was the parking setup. Unloading bags was a bit tricky with the busy roundabout, but it didn't ruin the vibe 🌞

Charming stay with great views

The breakfast included a nice buffet with fresh options, and the staff were attentive, promptly providing an extra pillow when requested. It would have been great to have more than one pillow to match the bed size.

The room I stayed in was reasonably spacious and perfectly appointed with a balcony and bathrooms. the staff were all pleasant. - It was in a very central location, very close to downtown.

The facilities are very clean, and they serve an amazing breakfast with delicious coffee.
